Facilities
We have tent sites dotted throughout the property, many with campfire pits among wilderness and trails, and close to a small oxbow lake and the Sturgeon river. There is a sauna nestled on the beach awaiting your arrival. There is a small off-grid cabin with an interior wood stove next to the lake, and 3 Glamp sites. Find your place and come get lost in nature!
As we are a private space, guests are limited, mitigating environmental impact. Available sites will be shown to you. There are no shower facilities – outhouses are placed around the property away from flood zones – Please bring your own supplies (wipes/sanitizer/toilet paper/natural and biodegradable camping products)
Event coordinators- contact us about the rules/requirements surrounding special events on the grounds.
What you bring in, please take back out.
Accommodation Types
Currently, we are limiting campers – please get in touch with us well ahead of time to reserve a camping spot. We have tent sites with allotted space for campfires, among wilderness and close to the lake or river. These sites are spaced so that each one feels isolated in the environment. There are clearly signed trails connecting the campsites, the beach and the large lakeside event area… If you are looking for a more secluded campsite, you may hike into The Loop and find your spot -no vehicles past Squirrel Crossing.
Dogs: We ask that visiting dogs be well-socialized, and be spayed or neutered (over 1 year old) as unfixed adult dogs can cause issues with other dogs. There is also the potential that one or more of our dogs will jump up on vehicles containing visiting dogs – Upon arrival, please immediately let your dog out of the vehicle to meet and greet.
We have a grassy site at the end of the oxbow lake called Family Camping 1 for larger trailers. Smaller trailers may be able to drive into a campsite along the trails, depending on the weather and the number of campers situated. No hook-ups. (Photo: camping in the field during River & Sky)
UNAVAILABLE at this time. There is a small off-grid cabin next to an oxbow lake, with deck, BBQ, and interior wood stove, furnished with futons, beds, chairs and dining table. This is an old building, it is not a lodge – think of it like Glamping, which is camping with extras! It is located next to the outdoor kitchen and potable water station.
UNAVAILABLE at this time. We have custom-built canvas tent sites built on wood platforms elevated from the forest floor for optimal comfort (built by R&S!). Outfitted with mattresses, pots and pans, utensils, camp chairs, a small deck, picnic table, campfire and wood, BBQ, and your own private outhouse. Just bring food and a sleeping bag, and you’re all set!

Outdoor Facilities
Kitchen
We have an outdoor industrial kitchen and cob ovens beside the lake, built by our friends from River & Sky, that can feed a large gathering of folks.
Beach
There is a natural sandy beach on the river at Fishers’ Paradise with sauna (another awesome R&S contribution!), a covered pavilion, and outhouses nearby – this place is perfect for swimming, fishing (further away from swimmers, of course), and beach sports. You can paddle one of our canoes or kayaks to take in the unspoiled wilderness along the river. Perhaps you would like to explore our little lake in the paddleboat.
Hiking
We have hiking trails on-site, and there are hundreds of miles of trails close by, including the old rail-bed used for atvs and snowmobiles.

Camping Standards
Our rules are simple:
No Littering (including cig. butts).
No Glass.
No Camping/Sleeping on the beach.
Pick up after yourself/kids/dogs.
All food/beverage/litter must be contained (in a receptacle with a tight-fitting lid or vehicle).
Wear lifejackets while in kayaks/canoes/paddleboards (it’s the law).
Wear shoes, look where you’re walking (for stumps, rocks).
Be mindful of noise.
Be mindful of fellow campers/children/dogs.
Children 12 and under must be with their guardian at all times.
Respect nature, others, and yourself.
Please bring your own toilet paper and sanitary wipes.
We prefer that campers walk/bicycle to the beach – lots of campers bring collapsible wagons for lugging their picnics, blankets, and beach toys.
